Message	No matter what you want to do, taking it to a reputable shop just to be evaluated would be the very best first step. You'll find out if there are any super critical issues that need to be taken care of first, and get a laundry list of things to fix/consider in the future. You'll want to think in the order of Engine/Drivetrain > Suspension > Interior > Exterior. Do the reverse if you plan on looking at it more than driving it. If you want to try doing it all yourself search for a thread called Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance for a starting point on engine maintenance.
